Country Music w/ASL Interpretation
Marshall Dane is a Canadian singer-songwriter and recording artist and five-time CMAO Male Artist of the Year nominee who writes country songs that cross genres and bridge the gap between mainstream pop, rock, and new country.
Beyond the music, he is an advanced Level-3 Sign Language student and active licensed drone pilot, incorporating all of his creative assets into one stunning and exciting passion. Often seen signing in ASL or with an ASL interpreter beside him, sharing his music inclusively, especially within the Deaf community, is an intense focus for Marshall Dane. He has even travelled as far north as Nunavut, Canada, to communicate with the only Deaf woman in a small community for hundreds of kilometres. She was eternally grateful for his love of the language and his commitment to sharing his music within the Deaf community. It was an extraordinary experience that he was able to document and share with the CBC.
